Ronkonkoma, NY — Morning just got a little sunnier at The Ronkonkoma Hub. Next week, the highly regarded Toast Coffeehouse, known for its inventive brunches and warm, quirky vibes, will be opening its doors in the heart of the growing downtown.

With successful locations already thriving in Patchogue, Bay Shore, and Port Jefferson, Toast’s arrival in Ronkonkoma marks the brand’s fourth café—and perhaps its most anticipated.

Known across Long Island for turning breakfast and lunch into an art form, Toast offers a laid-back setting with exposed brick walls, indie music, and a menu that satisfies both comfort food lovers and culinary explorers.

“We’re thrilled to bring Toast to Ronkonkoma,” said owner Teresa Sztabinski. “The Hub is becoming a true community destination, and we wanted to be part of that energy. Plus—who doesn’t love pancakes and espresso in a cool space?”

More Than Just Toast

Despite the name, this café is no one-trick pony. The menu is packed with brunch staples done with flair—think thick-cut challah French toast, lemon poppy pancakes, and avocado toast topped with microgreens and chili oil. Signature dishes like their Crab Cake Benedict, S’mores Waffle, and the ever-popular Tupelo Honey Chicken Sandwich bring regulars back week after week.

The beverage menu is equally celebrated, offering locally roasted coffee, craft teas, fresh-squeezed juices, and Toast’s famous frozen hot chocolate—ideal in any season.

Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diners will find plenty of options too, thanks to Toast’s thoughtful, inclusive approach to modern café fare.

The Right Fit for the Hub

As The Ronkonkoma Hub evolves into a walkable, transit-oriented village, Toast fits seamlessly into the vision: local, high-quality, community-driven. Just steps from the LIRR station and surrounded by residential growth, the new café is expected to become a go-to spot for commuters, creatives, and weekend brunch lovers alike.

“This is exactly what we hoped for when the Hub was first imagined,” said a representative from the Brookhaven IDA. “Unique, independent businesses creating lifestyle spaces and bringing people together.”

Toast Ronkonkoma is opening soon, seven days a week, serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Reservations are recommended for larger parties.

For those who’ve followed Toast since its early days in Port Jeff, the new location is a sign that the brand’s heart—and its golden hash browns—are in the right place.
