Ronkonkoma, NY – 05/09/2025 – Playa Bowls, known for its refreshing açaí bowls, smoothies, and juices, is bringing its signature beach-inspired energy to Station Yards in Ronkonkoma with a grand opening celebration on Saturday, May 10 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
With more than 300 locations nationwide, including four on Long Island in Merrick, Long Beach, Lawrence, and Miller Place, Playa Bowls continues its local expansion with its second Suffolk County location, led by franchisees Gary Yip and his wife Victoria.
Marking a milestone for Station Yards, Playa Bowls is the first national brand to open in the mixed-use destination. “We felt confident bringing Playa Bowls into Station Yards because of their authentic community-first approach,” said Kelley Coughlan Heck, Executive Vice President and Partner at TRITEC Real Estate Company. “Their grand opening reflects that spirit, thanks to their close collaboration with the Ronkonkoma and Holbrook Chambers of Commerce, Sachem School District, and local businesses.”
